The EgiZaust 5G rod series is all about Eging, offering top-tier handling for squid jigs. A new manufacturing technique, the “R360 Structure,” is the core of the 5G range, orienting carbon fibres across all directions: vertical, horizontal, and diagonal. This innovative setup crafts an ultralight yet powerful blank with remarkable adaptability.

Major Craft developed these rods using T1100G carbon sheets from Toray Industries, a cutting-edge nano-level carbon fibre material renowned for its strength and elasticity. This aerospace-grade technology delivers a higher-strength and elasticity modulus compared to conventional materials, ensuring superior performance under extreme conditions.

The rods boast top-of-the-line guides—Stainless Steel Fuji and Carbon Frame (3-4 depending on length) with SiC ceramics—allowing smooth braid flow, enhancing casting distance and sensitivity. Complemented by a Fuji VSS reel seat, these rods redefine precision and performance in Eging.
